Stonewall Kitchen Blogger Mustard Recipe Contest

Description and rules:
We are looking for some creative recipe developers and bloggers for our line of mustards. Create an original recipe using one of our Stonewall Kitchen mustards, then post on your blog and let your fans help us decide.

1.  Stonewall Kitchen Company Classics Gift Basket :
We hope these products help inspire you as well in your own culinary adventures.
Includes: regular sized jars of Raspberry Peach Champagne Jam, Wild Maine Blueberry Jam, Roasted Garlic Onion Jam, Strawberry Jam, Black Raspberry Jam, Orange Cranberry Marmalade, Red Pepper Jelly, Cranberry Horseradish Sauce, Old Farmhouse Chutney, Apple Cranberry Chutney, Roasted Garlic Mustard, Maine Maple Champagne Mustard, Bittersweet Chocolate Sauce, Coffee Caramel Sauce, Lemon Curd, Fig & Walnut Butter, Farmhouse Pancake & Waffle Mix (33oz), Vidalia Onion Fig Sauce, Maple Chipotle Grille Sauce, Country Ketchup, Key Lime Curd, Raspberry Liqueur Hot Fudge, Maple Pumpkin Butter.

2. Recipe posted on Stonewall Kitchen Web Site, Blog, Facebook Page and Special Pinterest Board

Contest Rules:
1.  Create an original recipe incorporating at least one of the twelve Stonewall Kitchen mustards – mustards will be sent to bloggers after the initial request for entries is complete. – All requests for entry must be received no later than April 15 and emailed to: There is a limited of 50 entrees based on first to enter.
      Please include in your email request for entry: Name, blog name and url, email contact info, choice of mustard, mailing address (so we can send your mustard).

2.  By May 7 - Post your recipe and a photograph of your creation to your blog.

3. By May 7 - Post a photo of your creation and include the recipe to our Mustard Recipe Entries board on Pinterest. Be sure to label your picture as: Stonewall kitchen Mustard Recipe Contest / your blog name.

4. By May 7 - Email us at  with the subject : mustard recipe contest entry.

Must include in your email:
Your name, mailing address (so we can send you your prize)
email address
Blog url
And a brief description of what makes your recipe so fabulous- ie: easy to make, delicious taste profile, unusual and creative creation, great for kids etc…

Recipes will be judged on cooking process, directions, taste, use of product and originality.

Recipe judges will include a panel of six Stonewall Kitchen employees which may include owners Jim or Jonathan, our in-house recipe developer, our photo stylist, a Stonewall Kitchen Cooking School instructor, and two, in-house, Stonewall Kitchen blog writers.

Ten Finalist will be selected and posted to the Stonewall Kitchen Facebook Page, recipe contest album for voting. Finalists will be posted to Facebook and Pinterest by May 14. Voting will be open until May 25.

5.  By May 25 -  get your fans to vote for you! All votes(likes) and repins from fans must be cast on our Recipe Contest Facebook Album and Pinterest board no later than May 25.

Finalists with the most Facebook votes (likes) and Pinterest repins will be calculated to determine the top three contestants.

6.  The top three contestants based on Facebook and Pinterest likes/repins will be re-evaluated by the Stonewall Kitchen Judging panel to determine the final Winner of the Mustard Recipe Contest.

7.  June 1 - Winner will be announced on the Stonewall Kitchen Blog, Facebook and Pinterest.

8. Winner will be sent prize via UPS within two-weeks of notification.

Mustard Recipe Contest

Official Statement:
All entries must be received within the contest start date, 12:01 a.m. Eastern Standard Time on April 15 through midnight Eastern Standard Time on May 15, 2012. Any entries not received within this time period will not be eligible and will not be considered.
Stonewall Kitchen’s mustard recipe contest is open to legal United States residents who are 18 years of age or older as of April 15, 2012. Entrant must currently maintain a personal, individual blog not a public blog under a media grouping of blogs.  Current employees of Stonewall Kitchen and or employees immediate family living in the same household are not eligible to enter or win the recipe contest.
The prize is awarded “as is” with no warranty or guarantee either expressed or implied by Stonewall Kitchen. No substitution, assignment, cash equivalent, transfer or exchange is permitted. Stonewall Kitchen reserves the right to substitute the prize or any portion thereof with another prize of comparable or greater value, at is sole discretion. All prize details are at the sole discretion of Stonewall Kitchen.
All entries acknowledge and agree the recipes and photographs become the property of Stonewall Kitchen, which reserves the right to edit, modify, copyright and publish for advertising, public relations and promotional purposes in any media without compensation. Recipes and photograph will be used on the Stonewall Kitchen website, blog and Facebook page and for promotional purposes. By entering the recipe contest, you agree to the use of your name for advertising and promotional purposes without compensation. Failure to comply will result in the selection of an alternate winner.
The contest will be governed by these rules. By participating in this contest, you agree to be bound by these rules and the decisions of Stonewall Kitchen and its agents. The contest is void where prohibited by law and it is subject to all federal state, and local laws and regulations.
